Stacked and solid volume: keep the distinction
A stack contains both wood and voids.
The stack profile multiplied by depth produces stacked volume, including spaces between pieces. Solid volume requires further measurement or a factor appropriate to the batch and method. Timbrivo leaves conversion disabled until you choose to use it. The editable example factor is not a universal recommendation. When comparing commercial offers, check whether price is based on stacked volume, solid volume or another agreed rule.
Reset example
A rectangular 4 × 2 × 1.5 m stack has 12 stacked m³. Only if a 0.65 factor is appropriate to the batch is the solid estimate 7.8 m³.
