Finished size or cut size?
Edge banding contributes to finished size. Define your reference before making a cut list.
An 800 × 400 mm finished part with 1 mm banding on all four edges needs a 798 × 398 mm panel. Short edges change length and long edges change width. Subtracting banding twice is a common mistake when reusing an already corrected list. In Timbrivo, the finished-size option controls this deduction. The edge drawing identifies the treated sides. Check applied band thickness and process tolerances; the calculation does not measure machine compression or finishing.
Example: 800 − 1 − 1 = 798 mm; 400 − 1 − 1 = 398 mm. Without banding on the short edges, cut length stays 800 mm.
